Beginning in 2013 Alyson consulted to a new high end perfume company based in Los Angeles. She assisted the owner with launching the new company and was involved in branding, social media, marketing, staffing and sales, including re-designing the logo, developing and honing an identity strategy, creating core language and the value proposition, and designing and overseeing the new perfume packaging. Overseeing the overhaul of the current website included structure, design, language, photography, press and pricing. Alyson designed, developed and oversaw the first release to the press, including developing the cover letter, press release, about, press, testimony pages, and oversaw the design and creation of a sample kit for the fragrances. Alyson also established the press list, overseeing it’s development, reaching out, following up on receipt of, and securing press received. Alyson designed, developed and oversaw the first sales kit, including developing the cover letter, product brochure, wholesale price list, and retail price list. She assisted with the search and introduction to sales representatives. Alyson also researched and established the initial client list, developed the sales pitch, and trained staff in sales. She created and marketed staffing descriptions, reviewed and interviewed applicants, and assisted in training of staff in marketing and sales. Alyson’s involvement in the infrastructure and staffing, branding and design, along with developing and launching the social media, press and sales aspects provided a springboard for the company to further secure features in over 50 publications, feedback from over 20 celebrities and brick and mortar and online sales avenues.

Alyson also identified, networked and fielded packaging manufacturers from around the world, including Europe, South America and Asia.
From 2001 – 2012 Alyson built and owned A Papier, LLC, an exclusive boutique graphic design company that created custom branding and physical deliverables for individuals, businesses, events and products.
